AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN'S ORCHESTRA & CHORUS

• Our Orchestras are for students who have made a high-level of commitment to developing their musical skills.

• They focus on developing higher-level techniques, playing their parts, singing as a chorus, understanding musical concepts, and working closely as a team.

Our comprehensive examination approach includes credits for orchestra training, live solo performance, rehearsals, live group performances and competitions, in addition to aural development, technical work and theory requirements. As a fully comprehensive program it offers real world applications from beginning to end. 

Further, all work covers a mix of various styles, periods, and genres. Aural Work and Rhythm Training is covered in weekly sessions. Our students work towards improving all-round skills in music education and performance with many of them gaining scholarships to private colleges and specialist music schools.

Our examinations all conducted internally and at any time; either at lessons or during Orchestra Training sessions. Our teachers are MIMEB accredited examiners. 

On a final note: 

Exams, awards, orchestra training, concerts, competitions, and other instruction (theory, aural, & rhythm training) are all included in the term fee.
